Students majoring in other subjects who are interested in English literature or in creative writing, or who are eager to enhance their critical reading and writing skills, can minor in English. English minors need to take English 25000 (Introduction to Literary Study), and an additional 12 credits in English for a total of 15 English credits. These credits can be a combination of literature and creative writing courses, depending on the interests of each student.
